Item description
I recently started up a small manufacturing facility in Aureus, Randfontein, producing my own development : POVOCOAT : a unique powder-form decorative coating that is affordable,
non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
Available in various shades, 5Kg of Povocoat will make for 20 litres of a usable decorative paint of good viscosity when mixed 1 : 3 with water and is easily applied, by brush or roller, to surfaces such as new, unsealed plaster, clay and cement brick, pre-cast walling & features and even bare wood.
The pros for the product far surpass the cons, if any.
I see this product as an opportunity to not only possibly help those that have been detrimentally impacted work and finance wise by the Covid 19 Lock-down and that may be thinking of going it alone with starting up their own small retail and supply business after the restrictions are lifted but also established rural entrepreneurs and spaza owners, both young and old, in providing a product and means to make up to a 50% profit
margin per unit whilst remaining highly competitive in pricing against the various liquid-form decorative products available in the market.
And all the while helping to beautify neglected rural areas and provide and restore a sense of pride and dignity to the people of those areas. A win, win scenario.
I also see opportunity for the product to provide a more-affordable alternative in Low-cost Housing Schemes, through either Government tenders or Private Sector funded and even cross-border export.
This is an opportunity that should not be overlooked.
Any interested parties may contact me, Stephen, directly at povocoat@gmail.com
